Dial a Ride nets Big Lottery Grant!
We have been successful with funding to purchase two new vehicles and now means we will be able to provide members in the north of the district with the level of service we would like. One vehicle will serve Buckingham, Winslow and the surrounding northern villages while the other will replace an ageing vehicle in Aylesbury. Some of the money will pay for a driver and the running costs of the vehicle over three years.
We expect to launch the new service sometime in December and would like to hear your views on how the service will develop. Maybe you work for an organisation closely linked with the elderly and disabled, people with learning difficulties or mental health problems. Or you may have a member of the family who could benefit from better transport services in these areas. I f so please contact the manager on 01296 330088.
Rotary funding helps purchase new minibus
The arrival of a new bus sponsored by Rotary Clubs of Aylesbury, AVDC and Help the Aged has greatly helped improve the mobility of over 450 disabled and elderly members living in Aylesbury Vale.

If you would like see your company or local organisation logo advertised on one of our Dial-A-Ride vehicles please e-mail us for more details. The cost is only £200 plus vat per annum. Our vehicles are regularly seen in and around Aylesbury Town Centre six days a week. We cover over 100,000 miles each year, just think of the publicity your company will receive, and at the same time you will be helping a small charity make a big difference to the lives of so many elderly and disabled people living in your local area, Aylesbury Vale.
